EMU Transfer Orientation – Residence Life

Hi, my name’s Emily. I’m a student here at Eastern studying Entertainment
Design and Technology. I’m originally from Dearborn, Michigan and
I’m here today to talk to you about housing on campus. Once you’re admitted to Eastern Michigan,
if you’re interested in living on campus, you can fill out the online housing application. Living on campus isn’t required, but if
you are interested in living on campus, you have plenty of options. You can live by yourself, or you can choose
to live with roommates. And if you’re interested in living with
other transfer students, you can check out the Living and Learning Transfer Community. It’s a great way to meet other transfer
students and to experience campus together. For those students who may have children,
EMU also offers family housing options. Living on campus is not only a great way to
gain independence, it’s also a great way to meet new people, get involved, and to join
the community. Food? Not to worry. There are plenty of places to eat around campus
if you’re interested in a meal or a snack. If you have any more questions about living
or eating on campus, please feel free to see the contact information in the module. Visit emich.edu/housing to learn more.
