ORPHANED LAND – Chains Fall To Gravity feat. Steve Hackett (Album Track)

Awaken my sanity slavery falls to the ground chains fall to gravity truth can now be found My freedom yet escapes me as if I am still in chains The memory of servitude it somehow keeps me sane Shadows – my enemy yet beyond them now I see fear lingered in me kept me from being free Pierce the veil of solitude and turn away I must Sand in the hour glass my time is up at last Go forth and be all you can be so you can see the path ahead Let our voice guide you on I feel only pain But I know that everything shall pass The end of the path
that forever ignites White light is blinding me Robbing me of my sight Somehow it sets me free Calling me to unite A spell upon me cast Bringing the final light of a long awaited dusk Blessed, you are the one who opened his eyes to light Now go in peace and step out of this maze I thought that I’m insane I always knew
there has to be more than this I am on my way out while you’re embracing the dark When a messiah is born
it’s like a late blooming of a flower rising in the netherworld, waters of hope,
falling on an orphaned land No longer the slave Now I roam onto the unknown but as sure as my heart beats I’m not afraid of the light

  1. After that incredible beginning it should be more passionate stuff. I needed an emotional explosion while i was listening

  2. Another great song from Orphaned Land, can't wait to have the record on my hands, again, Kobi did a great job in vocals, chen and Idan gave it a new sound too, more dramatic, pretty far beyond from all is one's songs, this will be one of the best metal records from 2018 since now

  3. Glad to see that the departure of Yossi Sassi hasn't hurt the songwriting, this is as high quality as ever! Excellent guest pick as well.

When I listen to Orphaned Land as a Muslim living in the Middle East and Turks, all my feelings reach an incredible radish, what kind of feelings does a person who does not know oriental metal, an indescribable feast, and does not know this culture and lives in this geography, listen to these music? I've always wondered!

  5. Tomorrow will be a good day. Sleeping Giant will release I Am, and Orphaned Land will release Unsong Prophets & Dead Messiahs. Metal! 🤘🏾

  6. Seriously???? They suck! Sounds like somebody beat a white guy fucking a camel! Sooo unsubscribe! Just a waste of time listening!

  7. staring to the band picture for fascinated 9:30 minutes, I think about sending it to http://www.photoshopdisasters.com 😉

  8. beautifull! I'm very happy to hear some proggy elements again (in the middle section), I would love to hear more in that direction.

  9. Incredibly beautiful song. Kobi sings so hauntingly, it brings tears to my eyes. And that solo by Steve Hackett – amazing.

  10. Incredible no guttural vocals on a orphaned song!..La primera vez que escucho a Orphaned land sin voces guturales, buen tema!

  11. This is a gorgeous track! I need to get more into Orphaned Land. Any band that's sophisticated enough to get the likes of Steve Hackett to play some lead guitar on one of their songs is a band that is worthy of a closer listen.

  12. Love the progressive style of the album… this is like the old Opeth imo… Perfection… Thank you Orphaned Land for not dissapointing as always… Also Kobi has amazing growls in the album i love it so much

  13. Love Orphaned Land for many years now, and I must say that I'm really impressed with the new album, it's up there with Mabool…it might be a little bit better even, need some more listens though 🙂 Great to hear Hackett in this song!

  14. Chains Fall To Gravity

    Awaken my sanity
    Slavery falls to the ground
    Chains fall to gravity
    Truth can now be found
My freedom yet escapes me as if I am still in chains
The memory of servitude it somehow keeps me sane
    Shadows – my enemy
Yet beyond them now I see
    Fear lingered in me
    Kept me from being free
Pierce the veil of solitude and turn away
    I must
Sand in the hour glass my time is up at last
Go forth and be all you can be
So you can see the path ahead
Let our voice guide you on
    I feel only pain
But I know that everything shall pass
The end of the path that forever ignites
    White light is blinding me
    Robbing me of my sight
    Somehow it sets me free
    Calling me to unite
    A spell upon me cast
Bringing the final light of a long awaited dusk
    Blessed, you are the one
Who opened his eyes to light
    Now go in peace
And step out of this maze
    I thought that I'm insane
I always knew there has to be more than this
I am on my way out while you're embracing the dark
When a messiah is born it's like a late blooming of a flower rising in the netherworld, waters of hope, falling on an orphaned land
    No longer the slave
Now I roam onto the unknown
But as sure as my heart beats
I'm not afraid of the light

  15. I think that most people who will listen to this don't know who Steve Hackett is and how much a great musician he is. This makes me sad.
