Our second WWOOF experience here in Germany it’s been in this farm also in the Black Forest but it is a little different from the previous one where we were because here we are on the top of a hill in an isolated place, there’s no civilization around, there aren’t even other farms around and the house here in the farm is a little peculiar it has no… excuse me… it has no no electrical power nor running water so everything that we do here has to be a little different from what we are used to do. Here’s the water that comes straight from the spring and here on the corner I don’t know if you can see it well is the “refrigerator”. This water is very cold and it cools down the food. The work here wasn’t hard It was easier than it was in the previous farm and we had some simpler jobs like planting some salad in the greenhouse, weeding the vegetable garden making a path free of dry leaves, we took the leaves to make compost also to cover the plants because the sunlight is strong and it’s not raining lately. We cleaned the goats’ and the sheep’s houses. We helped cleaning the pasture because it is full of nettle and the goats and sheep don’t like eating nettle when it’s still planted, so we have to take it out to dry and then the animals will eat it.
