World Bee Day 2019 (collab with Steve Plum Wine!)

Hello I’m Liz Zorab and this is Byther
Farm and today it’s World Bee Day, in recognition of the importance that bees
play in our environment and in the ecosystems. This day is earmarked to
celebrate, but also to highlight the importance of bees. This video is part of
a collaboration started by Steve Plum Wine! to recognize and to celebrate World
Bee Day. Here on Byther Farm we have a hive of honey bees but we don’t have the
hive specifically for the honey, we have it because we wanted to support the bee
population locally, and also to have them as pollinators for our flowers and our
crops. Since moving here I’ve planted hundreds of varieties of plants many of
them specifically for the bees. Anyway, I’ll stop talking and I’ll show you some bees!
